Whether you have not already gone on vacation and continue with the color of the office fluorescents as if you have already begun to tan, but you like to enhance that effect with your makeup, we propose to squeeze your bronzing powders to the maximum this summer. How? Take note of the different uses we can give to sun dusts during the sunny months.
Contoured with bronzing powders
To create and enhance the volumes on the face that the makeup base tends to attenuate, it is not necessary to resort to contour makeup if we have some sun powders in our bag. In this case we will apply them in the areas where we want to hide natural volumes (because they are not very aesthetic) or create depth.
Increase the tone of the base
A very useful trick to take advantage of sun dusts in summer is to mix a small amount with your usual makeup base. So you can continue using the same base that you have been using all winter, but with a more tan tone and appropriate for the summer months.
To mix your bronzing powders with the base you will need a palette to mix makeup and a spatula with which to achieve a uniform texture. Then you just have to apply the mixture on the face with a brush.
When we want to simulate that the face is tanned with our makeup, we will have to apply the sun dusts on the areas that before we tan or burn naturally. That is: the nose, forehead, chin and cheekbones, usually. This way we will get a good face effect, similar to the one we got after our first visit to the summer beach.
To simulate that slight tan that is glimpsed in our cheeks and our nose after having spent a day in the field, we can also resort to our bronzing powders with a simple trick. It consists of applying the bronzer on the face in a “more realistic” way than if we did it all over our face. Thus, with a brush we will apply the sun dusts drawing a horizontal line from one cheek to another, passing through the bridge of the nose.
It is about creating a very subtle effect, so it is best to apply the bronzer with a long and flexible hair face brush and ensuring that it is very small.
Sun dust can well act as an eye shadow in a natural tone. We can only mark the area of the banana to generate a flattering contrast with the natural tone of the rest of the eyelid. We can also make up completely creating a gradient as a smoke and freeing the line under the eyebrow so that it is illuminated.
As you have seen, bronzing powders are a versatile makeup product that we can carry everywhere in your bag to get that good face effect so flattering. And you, how do you take advantage of them?
