Deodorant has a few other uses you might not know about.
1. It Prevents Sweaty Feet
Rub deodorant on the soles at night to prevent sweating or even make them smell nicer. In fact, deodorant will have this effect at any part of your body, like behind the knees, your palms, and under the boobs.
2. It Prevents Blisters
Some shoes are fancy looking but can be brutal on your feet. To make it easier and faster to break in a new pair, use your deodorant. Apply on the sides and back of the feet before putting on the shoes. The deodorant will protect the skin from friction and blisters.
3. It Stops Chafing
Beyond acting as a barrier between feet and shoes, a simple application of deodorant in places where you experience chafing (like the thighs), will protect the skin as well. This is a great step to take before going out for a run on a hot day.
4. It Relieves Itchy Insect Bites
The aluminum in most deodorants is perfect for soothing the skin after a bug bite. The best part is that the effect can be felt instantaneously.
5. It Can Remove Nail Polish
Spray your deodorant on a cotton pad or ball before using it to wipe away nail polish. You may also spray it directly on the nails, though you have to move fast as the spray deodorants dry out fast.
Deodorant can be used to solve more than just sweating, so make the most of that versatile can or roll for these purposes as well.
